How to Use Red Clay for Vitiligo

Try red clay for vitiligo daily as a natural treatment.

Vitiligo is a skin condition characterized by white patches due to loss of melanin in that area. It is more noticeable in people with olive to dark skin tones.

The causes of vitiligo are not clear but risk factors include family history with the skin condition, hyperthryroidism, alopecia areata and other autoimmune diseases. About 1% of the world’s population is affected by vitiligo although some populations have rates as high as 2%-3%.

To reduce the skin discoloration, there are quite a few remedies you can implement. One remedy that has shown to be successful in treating this skin condition according to many vitiligo sufferers is red clay.

Red clay, also known as Moroccan red clay is a type of clay that has been mined since centuries ago in Morocco. It’s an effective treatment for vitiligo because it contains high amounts of copper that restores skin’s pigmentation.

Here is one powerful way you can use red clay for vitiligo:

Note: Make sure to use non-metal bowl and spoon when mixing red clay. Metal reacts with clay and renders it useless. This is because clays contain negatively charged ions while metal contains positively charged ions. When the two come into contact, the negatively charged ions get neutralized.

This recipe uses just two ingredients: red clay and ginger juice. Ginger juice is used because increases blood circulation in skin which ensures each and every skin cell receives nutrient-rich blood so it can function optimally.
