1. Gently Cleanses Skin

Macadamia nut oil has a relatively light consistency, compared to most oils such as olive oil, so it can be used as the base oil or one of the base oils in your oil cleansing routine! It works well in purifying skin of all types including acne prone skin. Here’s a simple but effective oil cleansing recipe: Combine ½ cup of macadamia nut oil, 2 tsp rosehip oil and 10 drops of tea tree essential oil. Store in a amber glass bottle . To oil cleanse, massage a dime sized amount on your face using clean fingertips, then wring a microfiber cloth in hot water and start dabbing it on your skin. This opens the pores and lets the goodness sink in and deep cleanse your pores. Repeat once or twice more or until most of the oil has penetrated. That’s it! Do this every evening after removing your makeup.
