This beautifully scented DIY beard conditioner is what’s going to make your beard better than the rest!
Beard Game Strong
If a woman’s hair is her crowning glory, a man’s beard is his symbol of manliness. Beards make a man instantly more attractive, it’s no surprise!
The thing about beards is they look so much cooler when they are well-kempt, luscious, full, thick and soft! And it’s easy to achieve this – all you need is a beard conditioner. Not any ol’ beard conditioner, but an organic, natural do-it-yourself beard conditioning oil.
Because fresh, homemade and chemical-free is WAY better than the expensive, paraben-loaded oils in stores!
What is a Beard Conditioner?
Basically a beard oil is a combination of natural oils such as coconut oil, jojoba oil, argan oil and others. The oils used are targeted to promote hair growth, thickness and reduce hair fall.
How to Make your DIY Beard Conditioner
It’s unbelievably easy to make your own DIY beard conditioner, so there’s no reason not to!
You can keep your beard oil scent-free but a good beard oil will contain luscious natural scents that will make your beard IRRESISTIBLE!
Without further adieu, here’s my really easy beard conditioner recipe.
What you Need
- 4 TBSP of argan oil (where to get it)
- 2 TBSP of jojoba oil (where to get it)
- 1 TBSP of castor oil (where to get it)
- 5 drops of rosemary essential oil (where to get it)
- 5 drops of cedarwood essential oil (where to get it)
- 3 drops of peppermint essential oil (where to get it)
- 8 oz amber glass dropper bottle (where to get it)
Directions:
- Get a suitable container, preferably glass and amber-colored, and carefully pour in your ingredients one by one.
- Now close the cap of your container firmly and shake to mix all the ingredients.
- Voila! Your beard conditioner is now ready!
Notes
► What about coconut oil? Coconut oil is popularly used in beard oils but I avoided it in my recipe because it tends to solidify. This beard oil mix remains liquid at room temperature and that works great for me!
► Choose your scent! Other essential oils you can use to scent your beard conditioner include lavender, lemon grass, cedarwood and ylang ylang.
► How often should I use beard conditioner? Use beard oil 1 – 2 times a day. Preferably in the morning after a shower and right before bed for some overnight beard strengthening action.
► What’s the best way to apply beard conditioner? Depending on the size of your beard, pour a little oil into your hand, rub your palms and firmly massage the roots of your beard. Run the remaining oil down your beard for shiny, moisturized beard hair.
► Gifting beard conditioner? Ladies, there’s no better way to encourage the men in your life to beard up than gifting them some fantastic-smelling, homemade beard oil! Perk up your gift with a simple hand made label with “beard conditioner/oil” written on it. Feel free to add short catch phrases like “Long live the beard!” to make it more fun!
