Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse for Natural Hair | DIY Recipe

Hair rinses are pretty popular in the natural hair world. They’re wonderfully clarifying and promote shine. Chances are you’ve already heard of an apple cider vinegar rinse for natural hair. But maybe you don’t exactly know how to do it: perhaps the proportions to be used are confusing you or you can’t stand the smell.

Fortunately, I’ve tried the apple cider vinegar hair rinse so I’m here to share with you how exactly to use it and scent it so that you can benefit from this fantastic hair rinse too!

What Makes Apple Cider Vinegar so Special for a Hair Rinse?

Apple cider vinegar is rich in a whole lot of nutrients and contains good bacteria. Of course, make sure to buy the 100% pure organic apple cider vinegar with the mother. This is the one that contains all this good bacteria. Do not buy the synthetic red apple cider found in the stores (like Heinz or whatever) if you want best results for your hair.

Anyway, here are the benefits of apple cider vinegar hair rinse for natural hair:

  • Removes product build-up and residue

  • Balances scalp pH
  • Seals hair cuticles
  • Gets rid of gunk, dirt and grime from hair
  • Promotes hair growth
  • Deodorizes hair

  • And more!
