1. Directly on your Scalp
What you need
- Half a lemon
Directions
- Rub half a lemon all over your scalp for 2 minutes.
- Leave it on for about 30-60 minutes.
- Wash your hair as usual.
2. With a Toothbrush
What you need
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp water
- Clean toothbrush
- Small bowl
Directions
- Squeeze a lemon into a small bowl to collect about one tbsp. Then add 2 tsp of water and mix well.
- Now get a toothbrush, dip it into the solution and start systematically brushing it all over your scalp.
- When all areas of your scalp are covered, wait for 30-60 minutes then wash your hair as usual.
3. Egg White Lemon Hair Mask

4. Lemon Hair Spray
What you need
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ cup of filtered water
- Spray bottle
Directions
- Squeeze out 1 tbsp of lemon juice into a cup then add ¼ cup filtered water.
- Pour the solution into a spray bottle. Store in a cool dry place and use within 5 days.
- Spray onto your scalp throughout the day or three times a day or, an hour before your shower.
- Use 1-2 times a week.
5. Lemon Yogurt Hair Mask
What you need
- 1 tsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 2 tbsp thick yogurt
- Small bowl
Directions
- Into a small bowl, squeeze in 1 tsp lemon juice and pour 2 tbsp yogurt.
- Apply it onto your whole scalp, tie your hair up and cover with a shower cap.
- Let it sit for about 30 minutes then rinse off well. Wash your with shampoo, preferably with a natural sulfate-free shampoo.
- Use 1-2 times a week.
