This beautiful coconut oil honey face mask is one of my favorite face mask recipes as it really softens my skin, hydrates it and smells divine too! Coconut oil and honey are both ultra hydrating and nourishing ingredients for skin. Make sure you use extra virgin coconut oil and raw honey for best results. The honey in the bear bottle is processed honey and might not give you results let alone may irritate your skin! Let’s check out how these two ingredients are beneficial for skin:

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon honey
Directions
- Add your ingredients into a small bowl.
- Mix thoroughly with a clean spoon until you get an even consistency.
- Done! Your face mask mixture should be thoroughly mixed and easy to apply.
How to apply the coconut oil honey face mask
- Start with a clean dry face.
- Pour the ingredients onto your palm and use your fingers to gently massage the face mask onto your face using gentle circular motions. Avoid your eye area as you do not want the mask to sting your eyes. Flush with warm water if the face mask enters your eyes.
- Let the coconut oil honey face mask sink into your skin for about 5 to 10 minutes.
- When the time is up, rinse off using warm water and pat dry with a soft towel. Your face will feel a little greasy but don’t fret! It will quickly get absorbed by your skin.
My Tips
- Got Acneic skin? You can definitely use this for acneic and oily skin too. Coconut oil and honey will soothe inflamed acne and prevent more acne from forming by driving out stale sebum and grime from deep within skin pores.
- Prep work. Facial steaming really helps your skin absorb the goodness of the mask by opening up skin pores.
- Storage. You can store this coconut oil honey face mask in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Remember to warm it a little before use.
