How to Use Rhassoul Clay for Acne
Here are 2 amazing masks using rhassoul clay for acne prone skin:
1. Pore-Purifying Face Mask
What you need
- 1 tbsp rhassoul clay (where to buy)
- Enough rose water (where to buy) to make a spreadable paste
- 2 drops tea tree essential oil (where to buy)
- Non-metal mixing bowl and spoon
Directions
- Dump the rhassoul clay into a non-metal mixing bowl. Do not use metal as it will make the clay lose its potency. Use a ceramic, plastic or wooden bowl and spoon.
- Next add the tea tree essential oil.
- Now pour in the rose water tsp by tsp so that it’s just enough to create a nice smooth spreadable paste. Don’t add a lot.
- Your mask is ready! Spread on your face in a thick coat.
- Wait for 3-5 minutes then rinse off as thoroughly as you can. Don’t let it dry up completely as it will dry up your skin as well! That’s not what we want. We just want the clay to suck out impurities only.
- Pat dry then tone your face and moisturize. I like to moisturize with a pea-sized amount of my DIY shea butter tea tree cream: I simply mix ¼ cup of shea butter with 12 drops tea tree essential oil. It’s great for moisturizing skin + eliminating acne!
