Have you ever thought of using shea butter for eyelash growth? Well, I have and it was a good experience! I got a tiny smudge of shea butter on my clean index finger and rubbed it on my top eyelid over the lash line. My lashes looked moisturized and healthy but that’s not all! My eyes which are usually dry and irritated at night time became lubricated and soothed! It was amazing.
As you apply shea butter regularly over your lash line, you’ll notice new lashes starting to grow! It can take a month plus to see results but it’s worth it! It is kinda better than using oils in a mascara tube. And that’s because oils can easily seep into your eyes and give it a burning sensation. But shea butter is in cream form and if it does enter your eyes, you get a soothed and cooling sensation!
Read below for ways you can use shea butter for eyelash growth:
How to Use Shea Butter for Eyelash Growth
- Store 1 tsp of shea butter (where to get it) in a clean and empty lip balm container like this one.
- Every night after you wash your face, dip your clean index finger into the container to scoop out a teeny tiny amount of shea butter.
- Slide the finger over your lash lines – both at the top and under. Or only at the top – it’s your pick.
- That’s it! Get some beauty sleep and watch those lashes grow!

♥ Use Essential Oils! Mix 1 drop of rosemary oil and 1 drop of lavender oil into 1 tsp of shea butter. Store it in a sterilized container. Apply at night time. Of course, be careful not to get the essential oil mixture into your eyes. Essential oils should be handled with care.
♥ Use Shea Oil! I’m saying shea oil because it is in liquid form which means you can store it in a clear mascara tube like this one. Just pour in one part shea oil and 1 part castor oil into the mascara bottle. You can even add a drop of lavender oil. Shake well and apply just one coat on your eyelashes every night.

Thanks for great post. I had the same problem with my eyelashes. I started using Lumigan (Bimatoprost) 😀 earlier this year (2-3 times a week). It is a generic form of the same liquid Latisse. Lumigan gives great results for eyelash growth. It works well to stop eyelashes from falling out even when you are removing your make up or while washing your face. The results are visible in just a few weeks. I found it worked great, my lashes are longer and thicker and look really pretty. To see the real results, it is recommended that you regularly use Lumigan for at least 1 to 2 months. If you’re curious this is reliable site where I found Lumigan (Careprost, Bimatoprost):

They gave me a discount code “SALE10” for 10% off (way cheaper..). Good luck!
